The 9th Intensive Courses in the framework of Erasmus/Socrates EC programmes will take place in Genova (Italy) from 25th June to 09th July

This Intensive Program “Physics and Chemistry of Multifunctional Materials” is addressed to the students at the end of their degree courses (A and D level, that is second level degree and doctorate) interested in new materials of technological relevance such as ceramics, glasses, polymers, alloys, biomaterials. It is turned towards “Multifunctional Materials” used in advanced technologies.
This program is very interdisciplinary and is related to chemistry, physics, engineering, biology and concerns aspects such as synthesis, characterization, structure of the materials, mechanical, electrical, magnetic, optical properties, matter which represents the essential relations in material science. Environmental and recycling problems, connected to the new materials, are also considered.

Previous courses took place in:

1.Grenoble(1996) 2.Santander(1997) 3.Twente(1998) 4.Zaragoza(1999) 5.Pavia(2000) 6.Grenoble(2002) 7.Lisboa(2003) 8. Thessaloniki(2004)
